Complaints about excessive number of events in and around Llanberis in the summer are rising; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-north-west-wales-38652678

Eg; "A growth in the number of commercial sporting events held in a Snowdonia village has led to concerns about noise and congestion. Llanberis and Padarn country park, at the foot of Snowdon, have become popular for adventure sports. But some residents claim the industry has caused "real issues." Event organisers dispute the claims, and while Gwynedd council said there were challenges, it maintained the events brought "economic benefits"."

Balancing the convenience of event partakers and visitors against the inconvenience to residents and other visitors is getting harder.

In reply to Chris_Mellor:

It will eventually become limited financially.

Gwynedd will increase the cost of licences for the events and the popular expensive ones will survive and the less popular and cheaper events will fall by the wayside.
