Chew Valley, Everest and Beyond.....an evening with Paul 'Tut' Braithwaite, Thurs 16 Feb at 7pm
Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team are pleased to invite you to an evening of insight into British mountaineering.
Renowned mountaineer, Paul 'Tut' Braithwaite, will chart his climbing career - highlighting the importance of our local Chew Valley as a hotbed of climbing activity that became the bedrock for so many British expeditions.
Following this, he will give a fascinating insight into his expeditions worldwide, from the Alps to the Himalayas, by way of Patagonia, Alaska and Mount Kenya.
The evening will also feature a bar and raffle, and Nepalese goods on sale.
All profits are to be shared between Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team (www.holmevalleymrt.org.uk) and Community Action Nepal (www.canepal.org.uk)
