Come along to our next gathering of South Wales climbers and walkers and get involved in the work of the BMC.

Area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in your area as well as the rest of the country.

All are welcome; the BMC will provide food.

I was all set to come to this meeting (would have been my first in my new area since moving to SE Wales), but last-minute difficulties ruled it out, sadly. I'll be interested to hear how the discussions went, particularly the (deferred) debate on the consultation of first ascentionists prior to the retrobolting of trad routes.

Excuse my ignorance, but can one read a summary of proceedings following BMC meets? Or is the minutes of the next meeting the first time anything is made public?
