After finally getting my head around the Alpine grading system I have heard murmurings of a winter grading system... (Black magic/work of the devil?)
What climbing / walking can you expect going through I-II-III-IV-V winter?
Is it likely that a beginner is going to find grade I relatively straightforward as you would on the grade 1 scrambling side- objective dangers aside?
