Back in April I asked for advice on Solar chargers having used many different ones before with very poor results.
Tim, at Mobile Solar Chargers Ltd was an absolute dream. He gave me some kit and battery packs that really done the job both in terms of charging kit but also in storing power for those oh so often miserable damp days.
The Kit was used on K2 this year for about 60 days and proved bomb proof.
I can’t really remember the specific names of the charging units, power outputs or battery pack but I’m sure if you are looking for this type of kit he will be able to help out.

We charged Ipads, Ipods, SAT phones, watches and head torches
Co-incidentally the kit I was supplied with out performed both Goal Zero and Power monkey and weighed much less.
