Páramo, the award winning technical outdoor clothing brand, needs to recruit a Southern UK Technical Sales Representative to expand and develop sales through our retail network. This post is to cover the South of the UK.

The Role

You will be responsible for the development and service of our southern UK retailer network through the sales and promotion of our unique Directional Clothing. This will include:
• Delivering regular structured sales and training presentations to retail staff and decision makers
• Gaining and managing both forward and ‘in season’ orders
• Territory and account management
• Presenting territory performance and strategies to the Retailer Sales Office Manager
• Being the public face of Páramo at both trade and retail events.

In addition, you will create and implement new marketing and sales initiatives in order to communicate the benefits of our unique garment range and promote a greater retail and consumer understanding of our brand.

You will regularly visit some of the UK’s leading independent outdoor retailers, whilst co-ordinating with the resources of the Head Office Retailer Sales team – in order to achieve the desired sales revenue from our UK retail customers.

The Person

You will be:
• An experienced sales performer, preferably in the outdoor industry
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office programs
• Able to communicate and present confidently at all levels
• Energetic and hardworking with outdoor interests
• Self driven and committed as well as able to plan and prioritise effectively
• Able to travel around the UK as required including regular overnight stays
• Able to work additional hours and weekends where necessary
• Have a passion for what we are doing at Páramo.
