What's the current correction for magnetic north - from looking at older maps it must be down to about 1% by now in which case it's currently irrelevant.
However, does this mean that a generation of navigators are going to grow up without thinking about the correction and when it eventually increases to a significant figure again they will get caught out. Or will map & compass be completely irrelevant by then due to implanted locator chips etc.
