Ice climbing on the Khumbu Glacier whilst nearby the Everest 2014 season draws to a early close., 4 kbThe 2015 Everest season looks set to end prematurely in the aftermath of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake of 25th April which killed at least 19 climbers on the mountain and over 7,000 people in the wider area affected by the disaster.

I would imagine most mountains wont be climbed let alone Everest. Can take months (or longer) for aftershocks to fully stop.

The BBC published that incorrectly on Tuesday.

Permits are US$11,000 per individual.

Thanks for clarifying that. There I was worrying that with JG only charging £39,000 per pax for the trip youd be making a loss.

Up to £46,200 sound more like a price for all-inclusive tour plus dedicated Sherpa to carry your daypack..
