Dan Duxbury training in the Lakes, 3 kbOn 14th April fell runner Dan Duxbury will start an attempt at the fastest time for a continuous self-propelled Munro round. He aims to cover all 282 in just 38 days.

Stephen Pyke's round blew my mind, beating that might make me melt.

(If it helps and you haven't been up recently the snow has really stripped back. Hills over 1000/1100m still holding a lot but many Munros now sparse.)

To be honest the article is a bit heavy on the 'record attempt' angle:-O I've got 50 days until I've got to be back at work and if I get round in that I'll be very happy. Spykes record is awesome and he's in a different league to me

Job Done!
Dan completed his journey on Tuesday morning, on Ben Hope. Although missing out on the record he still finished in an astonishing 42 days!
