In 'a very respectable 12 hours 20 minutes' … 'respectable'! - I think it's sensational. These guys are seriously good. Great, great movie too.

I struggle to comprehend doing the ridge in winter that quickly, a sensational achievement!
With bivi kit it took us 24hrs of movement! http://www.masterplan-mountaineering.co.uk/2013/04/winter-traverse-cuillin-...

In reply to Gordon Stainforth:

Ha, thanks Gordon. We were helped by brilliant conditions for the first 3/4 of the ridge.

I understand the winter record is 9hrs 15mins!

In reply to ian stewart:

Great effort. Two weeks earlier it took us 10 hours to wade from the Slig over the traverse of Gilean and back to the Slig in deep soft snow. I am horribly jealous.

Lovin' your work chaps. Your traverse is the real deal, and so is your film. Be proud.

I don't think that I could have coped with such small sacs. You cannot have had much water!
Great to watch, and also to dream:-of getting the time off, and then to have the fitness and the conditions all come together at once.I suppose that that is where living in Aviemore has some advantage.
Really impressive anyway.
Well done.
