In reply to Superchop75: They're not good, they're AWESOME. Super warm and light but a pretty specialist piece of kit.

Thanks. That's the kind of answer I was looking for!

Worth the extra over its ME and Rab equivalents then??

I have a PHD sigma pullover, and it is awesome. Really well made, you can just tell someone has thought about it as they were designing it. Better than Rab, and I spoke to the people in customer services about sizing before buying as I couldn't try one on, and they were really helpful, so as a company I can't recommend them enough.

Thanks guys!

Any advice on whether or not to go for the dri lite option??

Cheers

In reply to Superchop75: Have a drilite. Adds tiny weight and gives a little protection. Worth it in my view but then I dont have one without it!!

In reply to Superchop75: I have one, ITS VERY NICE.

Used it in dolomites as a "warm top", climbing in it in UK. Surprisingly hard wearing for the weight of it. Mine has dri-lite finish. Probably 8yrs old now and still going strong.

Simple but very effective. I would suggest that you take a bit of time deciding on what size you are to get the fit right as it makes a difference. Definitely go fot the drilite option as it increases the usefulness and durability of the vest.

Often worth waiting for the (roughly) six-monthly sale. Register on their website. Choice of colours will be limited as they just seem to make a batch pre-sale, but minimus vests usually feature.

I have one without drilite and think it's excellent. Very light, takes up almost no space in a pack, and very warm for it's weight. Great summer 'belay' jacket, IMO.
