In reply to mike123: See i m in a very convial hostelry enjoying a few fine pints of very fine gold , and a friend of a friend comes over and asks the above question , I say "it's something like Cham bus " I google that and get no joy , so say " I bet some one on ukc will know " , would it really have been too much trouble to type nothing more than Cham express , ? Obviously not . Have a good weekend , mines starting off well .

ChamExpress are V reliable, used them many times

I've heard they end up picking up Alpybus punters, when Alpybus cancel because of insufficient passengers to make a run worthwhile. (I have no persoanl experience of this though)

In reply to blurty: I've used Chamvan and Alpybus.
Never had a problem with either and they drop me at the door of my apartment in Argentiere (just up the road from Chamonix)
They all charge about 50Euros return.
