Are you ready for winter? British Mountain Guide Tim Blakemore will get you prepared at the BMC Winter Lectures. These inspirational lectures are set to inspire any budding winter mountaineers out there.

Tim will make you aware of the skills required to explore the winter mountains. Topics covered include:

Equipment and clothing
Navigation
Footwork
Route planning
Avalanche awareness
Climbing and much more.

All lectures start at 19:30 and finish at approximately 21:30.

ADVANCE TICKET SALES FOR CARDIFF, LONDON & CAMBRIDGE
Tickets cost £5 per person for BMC members and £7 for non members. Group discount: purchase 10 tickets or more in advance and each ticket will cost £3.50.

In reply to Owen Samuel - BMG: Has anyone been to these lectures? What did you think? We went to Harrogate last night. Some good bits, some great bits - and I liked both of the presenters. Pretty good, but somehow left us slightly underwhelmed, don't really know why. That's why I am keen to know how others found it.
