A view east, across the Goyt Valley, towards Fernilee Reservoir, Derbyshire. Taken from the public footpath next to Jep Clough., 4 kbA varied, hilly walk in a beautiful corner of the Peak District National Park with great views to the Kinder plateau and over the Cheshire Plain to the distant Clwydian Hills.

11.82 miles, 19 km, 635m ascent, 6 hours. Buxton

In reply to Dan Bailey - UKHillwalking.com: I was very pleasantly surprised, it was a great walk. I had never been to the Goyt valley before and didn't use a guide book, just planned from the map the previous evening. I'll definately be going back!
