Nope, the only things they seem to show are basketball, adverts, and people in a studio talking about events that we don't get to see.

There's piccys on twitter and Morris's wheel went over the line first, so that's why she's been categorised 3rd and Karen Darke is 4th.

Latest news is that they "want to share" the Bronze. Wonder how this will be resolved?

I suspect the Authorities won't be terribly sympathetic to this. Remember the Brownlee's were warned that if they tried to cross the line together they would work out which one was first. Two bronzes were awarded in the velodrome during the Olympics, but this was because the silver medalist blocked the view of the photo finish cameras so the could not split them.

Don't think it really matters. I just find it incredibly heartwarming and in the true sense of sportsmanship that two competing athletes can get to the end of a race and say that neither of them wanted to beat the other. I don't know whether Karen or Rachel would have won if they had displayed the normal "win at all costs" attitude, but, in my eyes, they are both winners and even if they can't share the bronze medal, they can share our admiration. I, for one, am humbled by their dedication and sportsmanship.
In reply to cisco:

I agree with your sentiments completely.

In reply to cisco: Aye - I'll second that Gordon. Good effort all round.
 davebrown3 07 Sep 2012
In reply to cisco: I'll 3rd that.

If my sums are right ? then Karen averaged 28kmh or 17.4 miles an hour. That's faster than I do on my normal racing bike. wow. I know I'm lardy, but that seems an amazing speed on a hand bike.

Congratulations to Karen.
I knew I would find out how she did on UKC!
