The sorry state of the existing footpath, 3 kbWork is due to start this month on the creation of an alternative section of Yorkshire's famous Three Peaks route, bypassing a badly eroded stretch.

So because the existing path is trashed, they're going to ruin what is currently a pleasant alternative by turning it into an over-engineered highway.
