In reply to UKH Articles: Just a quick clarification.....The intro text implies that I managed to run the entire length of the route. While I did do the vast majority of the route, it wasn't my intention to stick religiously to the actual geographical line. In fact, it is impossible due to motorways, rail lines, roads and forests in particular. Also, because of exhaustion and logistical problems I had to deviate in places which meant I didn't do a handful of the Munros on the actual line. What I did do was a runner's route on the Watershed involving close to 650miles distance and at least 33,000metres of height gain. I think those compromises made for a better running and journey experience. Over the next while I'll be detailing on my blog the exact route I took on some of the legs:
