In reply to UKC Gear: Very interesting product, but no mention of how it actually feels to sleep on, and how it deals with moving body position when lying down. I would also like to know how durable it is likely to be. My Thermarest prolite 3 short is utterly wonderful and very well built with tough fabrics and chunky seams, but still only weighs 370g. If this Klymit mat is as tough and comfy, then it'll be a winner!

Durability video here at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoG__iKhJlM&feature=player_embedded and the manufacturers website at http://www.klymit.com/index.php/products/ineriaxframe.html

An interesting and innovative line of products and materials especially the argon variable insulation vests at http://www.klymit.com/index.php/
It's hard to see how well the pads and vest work for winter or alpine bivving without trying them out but might be tempted if they were cheaper!!!

Cheers Ron

In reply to Ron Walker: i found it more comfy than the lightweight thermarest i own (one of the really skinny ones!), not sure about bivying as i was in my tent and on grass it was very good, warm enough but my ground sheet leaks so i would put a foil blanket or something under, but i would do this with a 3 quartz mat anyway. This one is full length so my head and feet get benefit too. blows up extremely quickly and folds away really quickly and does go back into its carry sack easily and is only can size! Loved it!
