"Pickford is an extremely talented writer and rock climber, climbing magazine front covers have featured his stunning images almost as often as his stunning body!"
Oh err Jack!

Anyways, looking forward to the new editorial outlook.
In reply to UKC News: When did Neil & Gill quit
 Ramon Marin 06 May 2010
In reply to UKC News:

That's fantastic news! Great credentials both for to make Climb better. IMO still a way to go to tail Rock & Ice, but surely this will shorten the gap. Good luck to both!
In reply to ramon marin martinez:

Agreed! Good luck guys. Look forward to seeing what you can make of it.

In reply to Paul Phillips: Neil and Gill definitely leaving on a high (no pun intended). The mag the best it's been.

I'm sure they'll do a great job, but let's face it, magazines are a thing of the past.

Ace. I love Parnell. He looks nice.

In reply to UKC News:
Does that mean we'll get back to something that looks like a decent publication? Since it's "re-launch" they've obviously been producing it on a twenty-year old computer printer with coloured mud.

In reply to UKC News:

I and many others haven't bought Climber for year. It's content has been limited to articles for beginners and sychophantic articles about sponsered heroes with nothing of interest for vast majority of dedicated climbers leading real lives
 Mick Ward 07 May 2010
In reply to kevin stephens:

Hmm... do you mean Climber or Climb? With rare exceptions, your comment could apply to either magazine. A sad state of affairs.

In reply to Mick Ward:

yes, indeed both

In reply to kevin stephens:

I think Climb is better (apart from the funky smell, but that seems to have gone recently) since its makeover - more agreeable layout, more lengthy, in-depth articles, nice pictures etc. Climber not so much, on the whole, but there's still usually something worth reading
