Dave MacLeod and Tim Emmett are set to be filmed for a major TV show this summer.

The main event will be an attempt on a new route up the hugely overhanging crag of Sron Ulladale on Harris.

Whilst I'm sure Tim & Dave's '5 new routes on 5 islands' plan is likely to be very hard and undoubtedly impressive, in what sense can the phrase 'world record' be even loosely applied? Isn't that just meaningless (and totally unnecessary) hyperbole?
