In reply to UKC Gear:

I've a Tendon 10.5mm rope that has had a huge amount of sport climbing abuse since new years and looks almost like new. It feels a lot thinner and lighter than the 10.5mm tag suggests.

Compare this to a Beal 9.4mm that went furry in about 6weeks of use at Malham last autumn.

In reply to UKC Gear: Since these ropes are made by Lanex, well known for cutting their ropes shorter than the stated length on the tag, it would be good if the review mentioned if these rope are as long as they claim on the tag.
