In reply to Mick Ryan - UKClimbing.com:

Why doesn't UKC have its own 'News Channel'? You could be the gushing reporter in the field, Alan could be the bewigged anchor.

Now, straight to Ravens Tor for this shocking report...

"Today is a sad day for sports climbing, Alan..."

In reply to UKC News: Sorry but i think this is pretty sick, People are always getting lost or killed in he mountains - and it usually doesn't make the headlines unless it's a real tragedy with lots of lives lost. Lets just remember that these people are sons and daughters, mothers and fathers of real families - dont want to sound too precious or anything, but if I die in a climbing incident I wouldn't want my family to think that others were laughing at the comedy of the spectacle. I'm sure this is just a comedy sketch but lets not forget the recent tragedy on K2 either.

I think we would struggle for comedic material if it was reliant on the material not being at all realistic and will no way ever happen!!
