Nick Bullock, currently in Chamonix for the winter, reports a possible new start to the Cecchinel-Jager '68 summer route on the East Face of the Pointe Lachenal.

Yes, You are right. That was a mean comment from me. I am just jealous. Apologies to Nick Bullock who has been very generous with his advice.

Did you have a look at it? Fancy a second ascent? I will go and look at it from the start next week, although I am afraid it might be out of my league to lead.

In reply to francoisecall: So am I mind, I've only been up climbing once this month! Not sure if I am quite ready for Scottish 8 to be honest! Was up on M6 solar yesterday and it was more of a dry tooling day out than anything else so the grade could be even higher!
