Self-confessed guidebook addict Chris Moor wonders whether his groaning shelves can take yet another set of Peak guidebooks especially when compared to his wife's collection of shoes!

Several years ago I tried to institute a strict "one pair in, one pair out" rule....

As much as anything they are an attempt to cut back on our guides as they seem to get ever fatter and more complex.

Also I have heard people say the regular RockFaxes are too a) big, b) expensive, c) contain too many hard routes, this was an attempt to sort all those out in one go - give the customer what they want!

If they work we have plenty of other ideas.
