anyone know how hard the climbing was? Alaska in its self looks a scary place, before you add the cold, the altitude and then technical climbing with a big pack.

Great effort. I take it this is the same Jon Bracey I went to uni with (Leeds Uni) where he never let on he had such drive! (very laid-back from what I remember).

Aha, Graham, ginger ex-Geog/Geol at Leeds.
I remember Jon was always one for climbing and jumping off stuff on field trips (normally after a few beers), didn't realise it was training for climbing big icy stuff!
