At the weekend the BMC made a start on removing the massive pile of seaborne detritus currently residing in the Leap.

Bloomin eck, that's a fine effort. Was down there a few weeks ago and it was a right mess. Did you replace the threads on the Black Lagoon whilst you were at it though

Aye, it certainly was a mess. All those bits of foam everywhere... I thought "sodding boulderers have been down here"!
Those little cairns that someone had built made the place quite eerie, like the little cairnfield at the foot of the Eigerwand.
