If Covid restrictions allow , if it snows a bit this week , where do you think is most likely to open this week ?

On the Cairngorms website-winter is always described in very loose terms as to appear viable and lure the unwary ! So NOT there (website) I would say…

The Lecht, I would have thought.

Although I wouldn't bother unless really keen - as Erick says it's unlikely to be much good just now.

Edit - The Lecht is open right now, apparently (just a couple of beginner runs, though). It's looking a bit like there will be warmish rain this weekend, though, which wouldn't help.

The only slopes open at the moment are machine made snow. Short stripes of snow produced by the snow makers, just enough to start the beginners lessons.

Don't think there's enough depth on the hills for any skiing yet.

Just artificial snow on beginner slopes. Follow all five “resorts” on social media and you’ll get good, daily updates you can extrapolate from (with the avalanche forecast/weather/experience) for off-piste/touring.
