Scottish ski areas - how are they bearing up ?

Wondered how the various centres were after half term week ?
thinking of popping up next week but doesn't seem to be any fresh snow in the forecast yet.
some of the centres sound as if they're getting a bit threadbare ?

As you would expect the centre operators tend to be as positive as they can be in their reports. Webcams on the individual centres sites will show the current position.

Expect the snow to be hard and icy to begin and softening later. I was at Glen Shee on Tuesday and there was total coverage on all runs.

probably going to come up for 3 days piste skiing - was thinking of one day each at 3 centres, kipping in the van. Glencoe, Cairngorm then Glen Shee - any better suggestions with the benefit of local knowledge ?

I was at Glen Coe yesterday. Lots more snow than Aonach Mòr but icy. Worth a day ticket I would say if you can deal with challenging conditions.

Climbing is the better bet though right now.

I've visited Glencoe, Aonach Mor and Glenshee this week. Definitely more snow at Glenshee than other centres. Also been touring:.The surface is very firm but still takes an edge. Really good today between Lochnagar and Glenshee.
