On Saturday it didn’t look promising. Wife walked from Garva Mor to Aberarder carpark over Carn Liath and didn’t miss her skis. Thin cosmetic cover on the main summit ridge, and some drifts on S face down to carpark. There’s more snow further north (big difference between Newtonmore where we live, and Kincraig-Aviemore - they’ve had a lot more than us). Cairngorm is where the touring action is at just now, it seems (caveat - I’m mostly stuck at my desk so haven’t been out to play…)
