The first Climb - Walna Scar, 2 kbThe Lakeland 100 'Ultra Tour of the Lake District' is the most spectacular long distance trail race that has ever taken place within the UK. The circular route encompasses the whole of the Lakeland Fells, includes in the region of 6300m of ascent and consists almost entirely of public bridleways and footpaths.

105 miles, 169 km, 6,322m ascent, 20 – 40 hours. Coniston, Cumbria

Just try it and see - there are 20 places still available on the L100, the L50 is full at 550
