I've been using these for a few months and have been really good:

Not technically wireless if you after the separate ear pod style ones.

Cheers

Ben

Bose SoundSport screw into the ear and fit me well and don't fall out, but in common with many you do get a bit of movement and wind noise and others have suggested that the bone conduction headphones are the way to go as you still hear your environment and the movement noise is absent.

Comfortable, reliable and they don't fall out!

I've tried a few and the best by far (in terms of not slipping out and battery life) have been the cheapest:

I use BeatsX, no idea about how they fair against others but they work for me. Sometimes one falls out if caught on clothing but never fallen off. Work lovey with apple stuff, probably better suited for an iPhone user. Make sure they come with the wing tips to keep them in your ears.

I use bone conduction one for running and love them. So mush better than in ear ones!

Yes.

If you’re considering wearing them at races get bone conducting ones.

11 people were DQd in the last race I ran.

I just bought these as I don't use headphones much when running but wanted something to listen to podcasts when I'm on the occasional treadmill run and whenever I run in the city. I tried them on Monday and quite frankly the sound is appalling but for the price I didn't have high expectations.

They stay in place though and there's no cable to flap around and so I think they'll do the job. If I was wearing them every day I think I'd want to invest in something a bit better quality.

I can't stand the "rubber grommet" ones which seem ubiquitous now, and I find having a cable is a benefit on the more traditional type that sit just inside your ear as it pulls them down into place and stops them falling out.

For info;

Headsets are banned for all athletic competitions (and indeed warm-up areas !) mainly for the simple reason that the wearers cannot hear anything else, and as such could either run into something (or someone), or be run into themselves. There have been a number of accidents before this ban, some involving ambulances taking the victims to casualty with broken bones !

Whatever you do with a headset for training ensure that you can still tell what else is going on, or you'll be like the clown who stepped out in front of my motorbike two weeks ago (a Royal Enfield with an almost straight through silencer, so god knows how she couldn't hear it !) She was lucky that I was only going 10mph at the time.

I use one of those headband types you get for going to sleep with, think they were about £10 from amazon. Never really got on with in ear headphones and large over ear ones can get a bit hot when you're running.
