The Inov8 ones are available at reasonable prices atm. Check out the lovely folk at Pete Bland.

Thanks for the head up on Pete bland 😀

I  got an origin/dry  target dry pac a mac

£30  7000 hydro head and 7000 gsm breathability.  Should do the job. ( seems to pack down tiny)  I'll really carry it for worse case scenario  basis or kit lists. As most of the time I just run though the rain.

Has the Pac a Mac kit got taped seams?

Just wondering cause looking for cheapest kit that will comply with fell running rules - like you, unlikely to wear unless really bad weather, but thinking of doing some one-day MMs so will need the kit.

Those hh and breathability figures are pretty poor. Doesn't mean they're not fine for some applications but worth bearing in mind.

I've just got one of these. 40 quid. Very pleased with it

Looks alright but has it got taped seams?

The link doesn't state that it has, but the RRP seems quite high for without.

How much does it weigh?

In reply to DaveHK:

Yeah i know. But should do the job i need ir too. Hard to balance small size  cost and  material cost.

I will probably  invest in something with higher stats for when im walking out the door and its already chucking it down on winter

Montane minimus - very waterproof, dries out really quick too. Put up with a downpour in the alps and was dry 20 mins later.
