Does anybody know whether this event is happening this year? So far as I can see there is still no date on the web page.

I am as yet undecided ... it's a lot more ascent than I usually get to tackle. But I did it as a walk a few years ago and thought it was such a brilliant route that I would really like to run it, even if I am one of the very slowest.

Being slow doesn't matter - getting out and enjoying a run does!

If the route inspires you, go for it.

I only ever run marathons/ultras off road as it's the scenery etc that gives me a buzz, not the time or position...
