Just starting the long drive up to Malton for the annual LDWA 100 miler which begins in Malton tomorrow. Never been to Yorkshire, so really looking forward to it....well, sort of!

Its a bit warmer than I was hoping for so, a few showers would be good, although not too much lightening please.

Very best of luck to any other UKCers taking part!!

Good luck, probably well into it as I type, but been helping on dragons back all week.
I'm beginning to find the stirrings of motivation for next year's event, celebrate being 65 years old (totally pointless reason). I know what you're going through, hope you eat and drink well and make the finish with a smile.
Great annual event, smile

That's all done then!!

It was so hot on Saturday. As usual in the heat I couldn't eat, or drink much so spent the first night being sick. Thank heavens for Complan!

The being sick thing has happened at about 50 miles on the last 3 events now!

Managed to run miles 80 to90 pretty quickly and felt fine at the finish. Time was much slower than hoped for due to the puking, 35 hrs 45 min.

Fantastic event though and the people who volunteer to man all the checkpoints are superstars!!!!
