I posted this thread in August, and wanted to thank everyone for the advice.
I ran my first 10k at Tatton Park on Saturday, to set a bench mark really. I ended up running it in 47.02 mins (no idea where it came from, I’m pretty competitive so probably enjoyed the race)
Now aiming for sub-45 I guess! I’m also considering joining a running club.
