Has anyone had any luck having Inov 8 x talon resoled before? Love the uppers and loads of life yet but have lost a few studs. I’ve used Cheshire shoe repair for climbing shoes and was thinking about them but just wondering if anyone has any experience with them or others?

thanks

Dan

Not sure you can with the more modern Inov-8s, but would be happy to be wrong!

Must say I'm surprised you've killed the lower before the upper - last set of mine lasted 27km before they fell apart.  QC for Inov-8 has been really poor these past few years.

I’ve heard this off loads of people but my experience with their shoes so far has been really positive, I think I must have almost 500km in this pair of shoes and have others that have decent miles in them with no issues as well. I think it might be to do with shape of foot as to if they fall apart or not. I’ll call Cheshire shoe repairs and ask but after having a good look at the sole im not sure it’s possible either.

Not used them myself, but seen people recommend

Not sure if they'd manage x-talons, might be worth a call
