Can't say I'd really thought about heather rash as a thing before.

The scars are starting to heal now.

Saw the report on Grough, glad I wasn’t there this year, was it as awful as it sounded ?

I grew up in Lochwinnoch so knew exactly what to expect and probably wouldn't have signed up had I known where it was. We also did the Elite at Tweedsmuir in 2015 which was similar terrain and vowed not to do it again if it was in that sort of area. However, I rather enjoyed it, perhaps because we did the A-Class so knew it would be more like 7hrs than 10!

I have many mental scars from the OMM over the years. They are still yet to heal.

I’ve done a few OMMS tonight. Mainly due to the family.

Yep team wainers was there. We did the long score for a second time, and this year we actually read the instructions so knew how much time we really had!

Terrain was shocking, but it is meant to be a challenge? We found the nav reasonably easy. The weather overnight got a bit interesting and the lightweight tent got a right battering.

Chuffed overall as we won the generation class in long score in our second ever omm.
