Looking for anyone who has had a similar problem and see what the potential remedies may be.

It is obvious, looking at my running shoes (about 4 pairs that are currently in my possession) that i have some sort of issue with my stride. There's a very worn patch on the in-side of my ankle hem on the right shoe. Cause is unknown but possibly my left is drifting too far right during my stride and clashing.

I don't have unbalanced injuries and i don't notice during the run. Does anybody do this?

My advice would be, if it’s not causing you any problems, don’t worry about.

Successfully modifying stride patterns is difficult, particularly if you’re a seasoned runner.

I get this too. I believe it's caused by over-pronation (feet rolling inwards) due to flat feet. Not really a problem unless it's causing you pain. You can get a gait analysis from specialist running shops (usually about £10, taken off the value of any shoes you buy) which would confirm whether this is the case. You can get "stability" shoes or orthotics to control it, but I'm not sold and have always reverted back to neutral shoes.

I tried orthodics when i used to be plagued with shin splints but they felt a bit clunky so i just went back to neutral and it fixed itself in the end. Thanks ill not worry about it.

Find a road with a white line down the side and run along it, it's easy to see where your feet are then
