Corns and calluses are hard, thick patches of skin that often develop on the feet in response to injury, pressure, or friction. It is caused due to wearing tight shoes.

If you have thickened layers of skin around your feet then you might be suffering from corns or calluses. Mostly it occurs where friction repeatedly occurs. They usually develop on the soles of your feet, especially under the heels or balls, on your palms, or on your knees.
