Running! It's hard enough walking! And in winter too! I felt better when Damian said sometimes they were travelling at 1.5km/hour: that's more like my speed in that terrain!

As he also said, the wind is always in your ears up in the far north west. I bypassed Ben Stack for fear of being blown off the top - but my reward was a stunning needle-thin waterspout that ran the length of Loch Stack - one of the highlights of my life.

Well done Beth & Damian: sterling job. Loved the photography too.
