As it's not been mentioned in it's own thread:

Peak District based Ultra runner Beth Pascall set a new mark for the Women's BG record of 14:34 over the weekend.

This lowers the previous record set by Jasmin Paris that stood at 15:23. It is also the 4th or 5th fastest round outright (the 4th fastest run under BG club conditions i.e. witnessed at each summit; the 5th fastest if you include Ryan Smith's 14:17 that was in parts solo)

The splits can be found here: http://www.bobgrahamclub.org.uk/index.php?page=record_times&record=ladi...

It seems Beth was targeting the Western States 100 and UTMB this year, so put the training for those to good use!

She was on R4 Womens' Hour this morning. Very articulate.

Did they at any point mention Bob Graham? I was driving so didn't hear the end, but they seemed to just keep referring to " a lake district record"

Not sure, maybe not. We take the background information for granted.

No, It was a pretty poor interview. Despite Beth Pascall being interesting and articulate, it was a missed opportunity.

'Doing the Bob Graham' must sound a bit strange to those who don't know.

Sounds strange enough to those who know! :P

That is a bonkers record. I'd be happy to be 9 hours slower.
