Any good recommendations for adventure running films to watch? I've seen stuff like the barkley marathons and those golden trail series ones. Any must watches?

'Unbreakable' - Western States 100, is well worth watching.

There's some really nice stuff on here, more short films but good eye candy:

"A mile an hour" by Beau Miles.  While not exactly an adventure film, it's really well done and has a very fresh perspective on running, and life.  Definitely worth 17 minutes of your time!

Thanks.

I think I've seen unbreakable. Is that the one with a young kilian jornet wearing a snug pair of shoe shorts?

He did another one too which was running the length of a mountain range near him over a couple of weeks. A really good watch.

Try 'Breaking 60' by Robin Lee. Based on the Hong Kong trails ...very weird with the urban environment to the fore as well. Need to pay. Find it on Vimeo etc

Oh I dunno. How about ‘Cool Runnings’? Class documentary.

His kayaking films and his short films  on topics like making a paddle out of junk wood and even rooting for change in a chair (funnier than it sounds) are all very good. His films have a nice balance of poignancy, insight and hilarity with a touch of the ridiculous.

In Constant Motion is a good watch about Canadian runner Adam Campbell, only 15 mins though.

Hmmm .. Is the price of failure death? I think that would spice up a few of these adventure films.
