Windyhill Quarry, Johnstone forgotten trad routes.

I recently saw in the SMC Lowland Outcrop guidebook (p.149) a mention of 3 trad routes (2 VS and one E2) across the road from the Windyhill Quarry. I went along this afternoon to have a look but couldn't quite figure out which line was which. I set up a top rope on what I thought could be the right hand VS which appeared to have been cleaned semi recently.

I have cleaned up Windyhill Quarry over the past few years and now regularly see people bouldering there on a nice day so I am keen to do the same to the trad routes as I think haveing a nice wee bouldering spot and a few small trad routes so close to home would be great for an evening! The only issue is I've no idea which line is which and which lines potentially haven't been done.

Has anyone climbed here and could point me to which climb is which?

Hi Finlay - Is the crag directly across the road? I seen the brief description on Lowlands Outcrops, but I can't find the crag on Google Earth.

I'm yet to explore myself but sounds a little like you might be referring to highcraig quarry:

Though nearer to Windy hill there is at least one established route (highball boulder) on the same side as the parking:

The rest of that borrowpit looks like it should have some lines but seems quite fractured and wet.
