Thanks for the offer Kevin but I'm doing my hair that day.

In reply to Frank the Husky:

I'm sure it would go with a vigorous brushing Martin

Thanks. Looks feasible but probably more than E3 and structural stability is uncertain.

In reply to Ssshhh:

Thanks! But disappointed they didn’t call it Rise of the Mammals

In reply to Ssshhh:

I can relax now. After years of wondering if I could get into the physical and mental place to have a go at the route, it is almost a relief (tinged with disappointment) that it has well and truly been taken out of my reach.

I assume you took that from a kayak. Interesting to see it. I am sure it will be done. Probably after abseil inspection / removal of further loose rock. On the plus side at least you do not need a big cam anymore.

On the plus side, there isn't a horrible slimy chimney ruining a perfectly good route anymore

In reply to The Grist:

That’s right Mark from my kayak. When I led TRex I didn’t have big cams ( they may not have been available then?) just an early titanium rigid friend 0.5 placed above the off width, pretty sure I wouldn’t have the  courage these days
