Snow in Garbh Choire? Or warm and dry next week?

Given the reasonable high pressure forecast for next week is it a reasonable plan to climb Square Face in Garbh Choire on Monday? Or is winter still a bit too established for a summer ascent and bivvy?

Cheers

Neil

Fresh snow on the hills at the moment. The route dries quickly but it will be really cold unless the weather gets a lot warmer - still forecast to be freezing on the tops into the weekend.

Yes, there was fresh fall overnight. There's actually more snow on the Cairngorms now than there was when I was there in Feb! It'll take a fair bit of warm weather to get rid of it.

Cold today in Aberdeen; the forecast did look promising for next week in terms of temperature; however, they seemed to have dropped this forecast today, so difficult one.

Working in Kyleakin this week, and across the bay the Munros north east of Applecross have had some snow on the tops all week.

No snow on Skye that I have seen, but it's been cold - 6/7 C at midday and sea level

Pretty cold on Skye at the moment. We've been climbing at sea level and still been freezing.
