The Maypole (HVS 5b)

Is this bird banned at the moment? Thinking of a quick trip tomorrow. Does the tide matter on it?

Thanks

In reply to dunnyg:

There is no bird ban at that part of Lulworth.

I don't know what the tide is doing tomorrow, but the hardest part of the Maypole is close to deep water so is no problem (that's the bit coming through the cave, the final part if done in the traditional anti-clockwise direction). The first four fifths is pretty steady, and even easier at low water but with more exposed rocks or slabby sections where you wouldn't want to fall off. Despite the air temperature, the water will be pretty chilly this time of year!

Tides are low shilst ill be there. Dont mind soloing above slabs if its easy but deep water for the tricky bit would be nice! Hopefully I wont need to swim, but I will be ready for a shock if i do! Thanks a lot for the info!
