Hello!

I'm currently researching for a climbing film, and I'm hoping to have the opportunity to interview climbers who are 70 years old or older. It would be great if they are still climbing. If you happen to know anyone who fits this description, I would greatly appreciate it if you could put me in touch with them. Thank you very much!

you might get in touch with 3 Wise Monkeys in Fort William, there are ( Im sure they wouldn't mind me saying) a group of older climbers there that are out training and climbing, might be a starting point.

In reply to JanBella:

Most people currently climbing in the North Lakes are over 70!

Go to Kendal Wall on Tuesday and try and find a climber UNDER 70. (I am - but only for another 10 months...)

Bob Smith seems an interesting character (b.1951)

Same at Awesome in Stockport on a Tuesday. A few in the 80's too.

ETA Our latest trip out as a rope of 3 had a combined age of 230.

Hope the rope wasn't contributing too many years to that total!

What a wonderful film. The footage at the crux had my fingers sweating! Great stuff!
