Is there any rock climbing at/near Ffestiniog (Wales)

As already posted, the Moelwyn crags are close at hand. Tremadog is about half an hour's drive away and The Pass/Ogwen not much further in the other direction. Quite a nice place but Blaneau Festiniog can be a bit rough and insular so do a bit of local research!

Have to say on hols in Blaenau Ffestiniog right now and everyone has been really friendly everywhere we have been. No issues whatsoever. Moelwyns really nice and not busy on a damp Monday and surprisingly grippy when wet. Only had a few days here but not seen anything that would put me off spending more time here

In reply to Dog Dave: On hols/passing through different to buying a property and moving in. Historically problems with parts of Blaneau Ffestiniog. Maybe things are changing but best to check before committing. Just a tip.
