Climbing bans in the Grampians (West Victoria)

The argument raging between the Australian climbing fraternity and Parks Victoria over climbing in The Grampians seems to be worsening. The following links may be of interest to those who have or are hoping to climb in the area, or just to those concerned about access for climbers. Please note that there is also a link to a petition which can always use some more signatures.

Good radio piece.  In a former life I worked for Aboriginal Affairs Victoria and the interviewee seemed to be completely on message about working with the traditional owners.  Interesting to hear that 'speed-climbing' was brought up by Parks Vic!

Yes, it did sound as if both interviewer and interviewee knew something about the subject, which is good start.
