It's June and I have yet to put a trad lead to my name this year, some bouldering and some sport but nothing to feed my soul (borrowing that phrase from Nick Bullock), but it sums it up. I kind of feel empty, anyone else in the same boat?

The feelings of emptiness could be a lack of lead trad climbing in your life. Not sure where you're based but I'd try and fix that if you can. Relight the fire!

I was hoping to this weekend except the weather looks to be on the turn. Maybe Millstone for some safe fun but it could be heaving there I guess.

Lawrencefield across the road was surprisingly quiet last weekend despite crowds around Padley Gorge, you might be surprised.

Must have been an absolute oven though! Smalldale was hot enough and it's North facing.

Very hot in the daytime but cooled off very nicely into later afternoon.

Me too, planning to get out for Trad on Monday however
